Welcome September!!
The end of summer is fast approaching. Soon we will be experiencing cooler days with fall and all its’ glory.
The pool season is drawing to a close and officially ends on Monday, September 5th. Hopefully it was enjoyed by all along with all our outdoor activities.
On Wednesday, September 14th the Board of Directors Annual Meeting will be held in the Rec Center at 7:00 pm. As there was no election due to no oppositions, the present candidates remain on the board. Come one, come all, meeting your neighbors. Refreshments will be served.
It has been brought to the Boards’ attention that residents are feeding the wildlife. Please do not feed them. It only brings more unwanted wildlife. You can and will be fined as stated in the Blue Book.
It will be getting darker earlier, and residents are out and about walking. Please wear light colored clothing so passing vehicles can see you. The same suggestion for when you are walking your pet. Reflectors on clothing or leashes are a good idea.
Attached are recent revisions to the LKA parking and garbage rules. We are in the process of reorganizing the layout of the entire LKA Handbook to make it easier to locate information. The new handbook will be distributed at a future date.
As a reminder, all letters addressed to the board must be signed by the resident. The board cannot act upon any unsigned letter.
