January is now over and it is one that will not be forgotten. The blizzard of January 22, 2022 not be forgotten any time soon! The community responded well to removing cars off the roads, which aided with plowing. Our robo calls kept the residents informed about the plowing and shoveling situation. It was very difficult as the workers were dealing with blizzard windy conditions and extreme cold. Kudos to all and hoping this is the end of the snow season.

The Architectural Committee wants to remind everyone that when you are selling your home you must advise the Administration Office as soon as possible. The committee must inspect the outside of the home before a closing can be arranged. A compliance letter will not be issued for closing without proper notice to the office. Please don’t wait for 2 days before closing to contact the office as the committee might not be able to inspect in time and it could hold up the closing.

Please note that most homes east of Sheffield Drive only own 5 feet of space around their homes. Know your property lines. This is an issue when homeowners want to do work. If you are not sure of your property lines, the Architectural Committee has your house plans on file and you can review them.

Please wear reflective or light color clothing when walking your pet at night. Vehicles need to be able to see you to avoid accidents.

Please cover your garbage cans on pick up days to prevent trash from blowing around the community.

Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.
