Happy New Year to everyone. Hoping 2022 brings a year of peace and good health to all!

Congratulations to the 2021 Holiday festive light winners. The Board had a difficult time picking winners this year, therefore, we decided to pick 4. Everyone did great decorating, and it was a pleasure to judge. Congrats to all! The winners are as follows in no specific order:

  • Maria Sigmund – 6 Avon Court
  • Richard Cummings – 185 Kingston Drive
  • Kenneth & Mary Bonal – 217 Kingston Drive
  • Dorothy DeRosa – 107 Sheffield Drive

REMINDER TO ALL RESIDENTS THAT A PERMIT IS NEEDED TO DO OUTSIDE WORK ON YOUR HOME. You can and will be fined. If you are unsure or have any concerns, please notify the Architectural Committee members or John Reppucci. No work is to be done on Sundays or Holidays. Please refer to your LKA Handbook.

PODS and dumpster permits are good for 14 days. If after 14 days, you still need to have your POD or dumpster you can renew your permit with the Architectural Committee.

The snowy weather may soon be upon us. As a reminder, it is difficult for the plows to plow around cars parked in the streets. Please park your vehicle up at the rec center to enable the contractor to clear the streets. More info to follow regarding vehicles parked in the roads during a snowstorm.

When walking your dog wear light colored clothing or reflectors on your pet or yourself. It is difficult to see you or your pet at night.

Please be careful when walking outside since this is black ice weather. If the roads are wet and temperatures are below freezing, slippery black ice can form. We don’t want anyone falling and getting hurt.

PLEASE OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. There have been reports of residents and their guests speeding through the community almost running residents down who are walking their pets. Please be mindful of this and watch out for your neighbors.

The book is called OPPORTUNITY and its’ first chapter is New Year’s Day.
