HAPPENING AROUND THE KNOLL
Bunco and Bingo will be starting up again on Mondays.
Bunco – September 30th and October 28th – 7:00 pm in the Recreation Center Bingo – October 7th and October 21st – 6:00 pm in the Recreation Center
Travel Club Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, 7:00 pm at the Recreation Center.
Travel Club will be going to Salem on October 6th through October 8th
Fall Festival and Halloween Party will be held on October 26th at 6:00 pm in the Recreation Center.
REMINDERS
Permits from the Architectural Committee must be posted in the window of your home while work is being performed.
Handicap Parking – If you are getting picked up at the Recreation Center for a trip, please do not leave your vehicle parked in the handicap spot for the entire day. This makes it difficult for other people who may need the spot throughout the day.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
There was no election this year because all three candidates, Dan Gorwitz,
Bobby Delhaye and Phil Nocerino were unopposed. We wish a warm welcome to Phil, who is a new board member.
The Board held its reorganizational meeting on September 11, 2024. Board positions and their respective responsibilities were decided upon.
The LKA Annual Meeting was also held on September 11, 2024. Residents had the opportunity to meet the Board and ask questions. Thank you to all who attended.
Driveways and concrete work are underway in the community. Work on the fall tree list will begin shortly.
The Board is getting estimates for some of the more serious drainage issues in the community.
Optimum has provided Director Costello with a list of residents who will need to upgrade their modems.
Board members will be reaching out to the affected residents to assist with setting appointments for the installation of these upgraded modems.
