June has arrived and by the time you read this newsletter, the summer season will be well under way. Let’s hope we have a beautiful and exciting summer for all to enjoy.
The pool is now opened. As a reminder, when the lifeguard takes his/her break from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, all children must exit the pool (ages 4 – 12). They may remain on the pool deck area. There will be no exceptions. Residents who do not comply can and will be fined. If there is no lifeguard on duty for some unforeseen reason, swimming will be for residents only. No guests and no children will be allowed in the pool without a lifeguard. An automated call will go out to the community if this is to take place.
As a reminder, all letters addressed to the board must be signed by the resident. The Board cannot act upon any unsigned letters.
If you must put garbage out in bags, please use the black heavy duty garbage bags. Using any other type of bag causes animals to tear them open and garbage is strewn throughout the community. Heavy duty bags are more difficult for them to rip open. Bulk items are to be put out for Friday pick up. All bulk items can be put out at dusk the night before a Friday scheduled pickup. Up to two bulk items please, and we ask that you call Winters Brothers carting company at 631-491-4923 to arrange for pickup.
It is once again, that time of year for the Leisure Knoll Board of Directors Election. All homeowners will be receiving election information in the mail towards the end of June. Remember, this is your community, and you have a voice.
Remember, when applying for a permit to the Architectural Committee regarding outside work, please make sure your paperwork is signed. Residents are forgetting to sign their requests.
