Important Dates to Remember:
- Tuesday, July 4th – Independence Day
Summer is finally here! Enjoy what the community has to offer. So many activities with so much to do. Take a ride out east and visit a farm stand. Take advantage of the beautiful weather.
Tuesday, July 4th, the pool will be opened to children. We will follow the usual weekday children’s hours (11:30 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm). Tuesday is typically an adults-only day – this is a special session for the holiday only.
July 8th the Jubilee Committee will be selling hot dogs, chips, and water from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm by the pool. Come and support this event for our upcoming 50th Jubilee.
As a reminder, please water your lawns. The community is exceptionally beautiful this year. There are a few lawns that are brown and in need of watering. We have not had much rain this year and these lawns could use a little help.
If you notice that shrubs, plants and or weeds around your home are becoming taller than your house, please cut them. They are unsightly, harbor bugs and may become a safety issue.
Please slow down when driving. Our residents are enjoying this beautiful weather and are out walking all hours of the day. This includes early evening just before darkness and you may not see them. Please remember safety for our residents.
All residents will be getting LKA Board voting information at the end of June in the mail. If you are interested in running for the board, please read the information and obtain 25 petition signatures. If you have any questions, please call the office. All petition signatures and resumes must be in by July 31, 2023.
