HAPPENING AROUND THE KNOLL
The American Legion Auxiliary Holiday Event was enjoyed by many. Children were able to participate in many activities as well as receive a gift from Santa, who made his way around the community with the help of the Ridge Fire Department. It was quite a sight to see all the fire trucks make their way through the community before landing at the Recreation Center. Later in the evening the adults enjoyed caroling by the Gazebo.
Our community has been looking quite festive with all the beautiful holiday decorations. Congratulations to the 2024 holiday house decorating contest winners:
- 561 Stratford Lane – William Rice
- 156 Edinburgh Drive – Frank & Umeilah Rahim
- 367 Sheffield Court – Richie & Peggy Torres
If you didn’t participate this year, it’s never too early to start planning for next year!
REMINDERS
As snow season approaches, please remember to keep vehicles off the road during plowing. You may park at the Recreation Center parking lot.
Ice melt, rock salt or potassium chloride will eat away at concrete. Instead, consider using calcium chloride or magnesium chloride.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our next community information meeting will be held on February 25th at 7:00 pm. The Board is taking steps to be able to video record all future community meetings and make them available on Channel 591 for those who cannot attend in person.
With the tree work and concrete work completed, the Board will turn its attention to projects that can be accomplished over the winter. One project we are currently pursuing is replacing the ceiling in the Recreation Center. We will also be refurbishing the card tables in the Craft Center, thanks to our maintenance staff and volunteers in the wood shop.
