Important Dates to Remember:

  • Sunday, January 1 – New Year’s Day
  • Monday, January 16 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Another holiday season is behind us. Wishing everyone a happy, safe and healthy New Year!

Congratulations to our 2022 Holiday House Decorating contest. As always, it was a very difficult decision. This year there were so many beautiful and festive homes to choose from. We had 4 winners:

  • 200 Belfast Lane
  • 14 Lamont Road
  • 180 Kingston Drive
  • 142 Edinburgh Drive

Everyone had beautiful decorations. It was a pleasure to drive around and enjoy seeing all the wonderful displays. Congratulations to all!

As we approach the snow season, a reminder that there are to be no cars parked in the road during plowing as it is difficult for the plows to get around parked cars and the roads cannot be plowed properly. Cars can be parked at the Rec Center parking lot. If this procedure is not followed, you can be fined.

When walking your pet at night please wear light colored clothing, carry a flashlight or have reflector tape on your clothing or pet. This is becoming a safety issue as drivers cannot see you or your pet.

Optimum workers will be walking throughout the community surveying the property in order to begin upgrades.

Many thanks to our many volunteers who help distribute the Gazebo and newsletters. Regardless of rain, snow, heat, or freezing temperatures, they are out there delivering your monthly LKA happenings. There are over 50 people donating their time, along with the effort of the office staff, who always help expedite the Gazebo. The next time you see them, “Please say thank you!”

QUESTIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY:
If the post that my mailbox is on breaks, who replaces it?

Answer: LKA replaces or fixes the post. Just call the Admin Office and a work order will be generated for the work to be done.

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year!
