Welcome to February and so far, no snow. Stay warm and safe. Watch out for black ice when you are outside and walking about. We may have no snow, but we do have cold temperatures and rain freezes. If you are using ice melt for your driveways and walkways, make sure they are safe for concrete and asphalt. Please read the label on the package before buying.
The Architectural Committee would like to remind everyone that has obtained a permit to return the permit once the work is completed. Please call the committee to let them know the work is completed. They need the information for their files.
Pet owners need to remember to pick up after their pets. Please be responsible pet owners and respectful of your neighbor’s property. Do not let your pet relieve themselves on your neighbor’s mailbox posts. It kills the grass around the posts and becomes unsightly.
When you have a contractor doing work in/on your home please remind them that they are not to display their company signs on your lawn. There are to be no outside signs displayed except for a small for sale sign in the window. You can be subject to a violation fine.
For everyone that takes the bus in the community we are now sharing the bus with Leisure Village. This means that the bus ride might be longer, and the bus driver will alternate which community gets picked up first and dropped off first. Please be aware and make your plans as needed.
There will be an Informational meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Rec Center. Bring your questions for the board.
It is that time of year that you may want to think about running for the board. Remember this is your community and what better way to be involved with decision making than to be a board member as well as plan for the future of the community.
Leisure Knoll’s 50th Anniversary is fast approaching. What better way to celebrate than to have a 50th Year Jubilee. If anyone has old pictures, stories, or any memorabilia from the past 50 years of the community we would be very interested. Please get in touch with the administration office and share your stories. These will be on display during the Jubilee. More information to follow.
