REMINDERS
- Please do not approach our maintenance staff or any of our vendors doing work in the community. If you see something that needs to be addressed or you have a complaint about any work being done, we ask that you contact the office, and the staff will open a work order. This allows us to track any issues and make sure they are completed. If the office receives multiple calls about the same issue, it will allow us to see any trends that may indicate a larger issue that needs attention.
- The new LKA monthly maintenance payment coupon booklet for fiscal year 2025/2026 has been mailed out to residents and should be used with your September payment. If you participate in DIRECT WITHDRAWAL, the new amount will automatically deduct from your bank account on file. If you are sending payment through your online banking you will need to adjust the amount and make sure you have the correct payment mailing address which is 710 Whiskey Road, Ridge, NY 11961. If you mail your payments, please use the new payment coupons, and note the payment address is 710 Whiskey Road, Ridge, NY 11961. Residents may also drop off their payment. There is a drop box located at the entrance to the Administration Office.
- All residents who have not yet made arrangements to receive their FOB are asked to call the office before the August 15th deadline. If you are homebound we can arrange to have someone come to your home. Please call the office, 631-744-6000, to schedule an appointment. The Go Live date has not yet been determined but if you or your guests are using a four-digit code to gain access at the gate or to any of our buildings, that code will become inactive and it will be replaced by the FOB on the GO LIVE date.
- The Wood Shop volunteers have found an array of items that were dropped off but never picked up. If you have an item at the woodshop please stop by or call and claim it. Any items that were not claimed by August 10th will be given away to any resident who would like them.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
- The annual budget meeting was held on July 22, 2025. Thank you for your attendance and participation.
- LKA Board of Directors Election will take place on September 9, 2025. The deadline for candidates to submit paperwork was July 31, 2025. There will be a Meet the Candidate Night on August 4, 2025. The Board of Directors’ Election will take place on September 9th following by the annual meeting on September 10, 2025.
