Well summer is off to a wonderful start and August is proving to be a very busy one. So many activities are happening right here in Leisure Knoll.
Wednesday, August 9th, the Jubilee committee will be sponsoring BINGO in the Rec Center at 6:00 pm. Tell your neighbors and bring your friends and have some fun!
On Thursday, August 10th there will be a luncheon to honor all those residents who are 90 and over. If you did not receive an invitation and are interested in attending this luncheon, please contact the administration office so that an invitation can be sent to you. It will be a pleasure to see as many as possible attend.
All potential candidates running for the LKA Board must have had their paperwork in by July 31st. If an election takes place, there will be a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Thursday, August 31st at 7:00 pm in the Rec Center.
There will be a community budget meeting on Wednesday, August 23rd, 7:00 pm, in the Rec Center. The budget will be discussed, please bring your questions.
Just an fyi – There have been sightings of coyotes in the area and a bobcat in the Rocky Point area. Please make sure that garbage pails are tightly covered and do not feed the wildlife. When walking your pet in the evening or night be sure to be alert and careful!
Please be a responsbile pet owner and pick up after your pet. As a reminder, all pets must be on a leash when out walking. Please remember to have a flashlight or wear reflector tape on you and your pet at night time. This is for your safety.
Reminder: Poster boards for clubs to display at the 50th Jubilee are still avaiable. You can pick up the board at the Administration Office.
