Dates to remember:

  • August 19th – Board of Directors Volunteer Luncheon – 12:30 pm
  • August 25th – LKA Community Budget Meeting – Rec Center – 7:00 pm

Summer is well underway and hopefully everyone is enjoying what nature has to offer. The plantings and flowers in the community are abundant, bright, and beautiful. Take a walk around and enjoy your neighbors’ gardens. They are a visual beauty with an array of colors for our senses.

By now we have our candidates for the upcoming board elections. Everyone will be able to meet and greet them before the elections. More info to follow.

Anonymous and/or unsigned letters sent to the Board of Directors will not be addressed. They are discarded. All correspondence must be signed. Remember that any letter received is confidential.

As a reminder, no outside construction work is allowed on homes on Sundays and legal holidays. All outside work is to be done between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday only.

Please beware – identity theft continues. There have been complaints that people have put out white garbage bags on scheduled days, not in receptacles and noticed that the bags disappear before the garbage truck arrives. For your safety, please make sure any important papers or other important information is shredded.

The Board would like to compliment and thank all the dog walkers that pick up after their pet. There has been little, or no waste noted. Kudos to all!

The pool hours for children are as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm Sunday – 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Wednesdays and Saturdays are for LKA Residents Only! Please check the website, leisureknoll.org for the update.

The tennis courts have been repaired by maintenance and are now open to all. Please be mindful of the tennis club hours.

The human contribution is the essential ingredient. It is only in the giving oneself to others that we truly live.
